How to turn images into a single PDF
Took photos of application papers, notebook pages or certificates and want to send them as one file? One PDF is clearer and easier than ten separate pictures in a chat.
Filezain’s Images to PDF puts each image on its own page at its original size and combines them into one file, inside your browser.
When you need it
- Sending photos of official documents as one file.
- Handing in handwritten homework photographed with your phone.
- Collecting photos of receipts or invoices.
- Turning screenshots into one file to share.
Steps
- Open Images to PDF.
- Choose the images in the order you want (first image = first page).
- Check the list and remove any extra image.
- Press the convert button and download filezain-images.pdf.
Tips
- Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF and BMP. Convert iPhone HEIC photos first with HEIC to JPG.
- Each page takes the size of its image, so landscape photos become landscape pages.
- For photos of paper documents, Scan to PDF is better: it gives a clean white background and A4 pages.
- If the file is big, compress the images first with Compress Images, or compress the PDF afterwards.
Common problems and fixes
- My images don’t appear in the list.
- Check the format; HEIC photos need converting first.
- The order is wrong.
- Clear the list and choose the images again in the right order.
- The file is large.
- Phone photos are high-resolution; compress them first or compress the result.
- Pages have different sizes.
- Each page matches its image. For uniform A4 pages use Scan to PDF.
