How to sign a PDF on your phone

Got a contract or form that needs your signature? Instead of printing, signing and scanning it, you can sign it right on your phone in a minute.

Filezain’s Sign PDF works inside your browser, so neither your document nor your signature is uploaded anywhere.

When you need it

Steps

  1. Open Sign PDF and choose your file.
  2. Tap “Create signature” and choose: draw with your finger, type your name, or upload a picture of your signature.
  3. Tap “Use this signature” and it appears on the page.
  4. Drag it into place and resize it with the corner handle.
  5. To add it to other pages, move with the page arrows and tap “Add signature to this page”, then save.

Tips

Common problems and fixes

The file won’t open.
If it’s password-protected, remove the password first with Unlock PDF.
The signature landed in a different place after saving.
Check you placed it on the right page — the page number is shown above the preview.
The uploaded signature has a grey background.
Photograph it in good light on white paper, with background removal on.
The page scrolls when I try to draw.
Draw inside the signature box only; it’s built to stop the page from scrolling.
